It was November 6th, 2011. I was at my home @ Therkkupalayam, Palladam. Rain started by approximately 4 p.m. in the eve. It kept on raining till I went to bed. Heard some voice, it was my younger brother. He tried woking me up. He said the channel, right next to our house, got flooded. Then like 5 mins later he said the same. Actually its not 5 minutes. First time it was 3 a.m. and next time around 7a.m. Okay so what happened?? I got up, walked slowly and reached bathroom. Took my brush, equipped it with the semi-solid that has been provided by Colgate and started creating foam in my mouth, spitting at intervals. Heard like a roaring sound, coming from the left side of my home. Opened the side-yard door and saw that. wow :) Its water everywhere. After 16 years the channel has been flooded. There were around 50-70 people standing on the small bridge and seeing the rushing and roaring water. Almost all the children of my township were there. At our shop-front, its the talk of the morning.
You - "You say that all people in your ecosystem was happy because of the rain. Then why the hell the title is against rain ? Also why do you ask rain to go away?"
Good question! I would like to say something here. "Never ever comment about the title of the movie until you see the complete movie" Let me say the next half of the historic rainy day.
After teeth-care process, came in and sat in front of the laptop (which I'm using now to type this post). Some problem with TV cable network. No relay on TV. So I just loaded www.puthiyathalaimurai.tv
Then came this tragic news. At Tiruppur the river Noyil got flooded and washed away the human-occupied river banks. 20 people died coz of this evil rain. This count includes a baby. :(
Not only rain, anything is good only to a limit. This reminds me the proverb - Too much of anything is good for nothing.
These days nature is getting more and more extreme. If rain, its torrential. If sunny, its burning.
Is this because of Global warming? I don't get any clue. Why is it like this? Will incidents in 2012 movie comes to reality? Only God knows..
